Why subscribe?

I want to help you succeed in growing a rich, varied and high quality fresh food diet, every week of the year, but it’s not easy, even if you are a practiced gardener!

I think this newsletter can help! I already have a very comprehensive eBook and over a 1000 videos that are freely available, but I’ve realised that it can all seem a bit too overwhelming. I think the missing element is timely information: help with planning in winter, monthly and weekly articles explaining what to sow, plant and harvest and lots of extra hints, tips and ideas for experiments.

This newsletter will focus on getting you just the information you need, when you need it and not just the basics of what to sow, plant and harvest, but the hard won lessons, the tools and guides, the progress reports that allow you to compare your results with mine and the ability to ask ask questions and support each other.

I’m calling this newsletter - Outgrow - because I’m on a personal mission to move beyond the gardening myths and traditions that might have served us well in the past. That’s ‘outgrow’ in the sense of growing up, but the second - equally important - meaning is to ‘outgrow’ in the sense of growing better, by out competing your past self or others.

I think there’s a lot more we can learn about gardening now that we have modern tools and techniques available to us, that allow us to grow better and to fit gardening into our ‘good lives’.

This newsletter will be a complement to my existing YouTube channel and free eBook and gardening app and it will point you to the relevant content as the year progresses.

I’m also planning to dive deeper into some of the broader lifestyle aspects of ‘living the good life’, focusing on the upsides, whilst not glossing over some of challenges.
